To use Seam with TTLock locks, ask the device owner to complete the steps below. Locks must already be installed before proceeding.

1. Set up the TTLock app

  1. Download and install the TTLock app and create an account if you don’t have one.
Your users must be the top administrator for each TTLock that they want to connect to Seam.
  1. Set up your door lock in the TTLock app. Follow the instructions in this video for guidance.

2. Pair the lock with a TTLock gateway

Pair each lock with a TTLock gateway. Follow the instructions in this video for guidance.

3. Enable Remote Unlock

In the TTLock app, go to the lock settings and enable the Remote Unlock feature for each lock. This feature must be enabled to unlock a TTLock device through Seam. Follow the instructions in this video for guidance.

4. Connect TTLock to Seam

  1. Note your login credentials for the TTLock app.
  2. In the form to connect TTLock to Seam, enter those credentials and click Submit to complete.

Troubleshooting

If locks don’t appear after connecting your account:
  • Verify that you’re logging in with the top administrator account for each lock. Locks added under a sub-account will not appear.
If you see a ttlock_lock_not_paired_to_gateway error: If you see a ttlock_lock_gateway_unlocking_not_enabled warning:
  • Open the lock settings in the TTLock app and enable the Remote Unlock feature.
If a lock is not completing requested actions:
  • Certain TTLock Wi-Fi lock models have a power-saving mode that prevents remote control. Confirm whether the lock is in power-saving mode and, if so, ask the user to turn it off.
