Overview

This guide walks you through connecting your Nuki locks to Seam. Your locks must already be set up and working in the Nuki app before proceeding.

Step 1: Confirm Your Nuki Account

  1. Create an account in the Nuki App if you have not done so already.
  2. In the Nuki App, confirm that your Nuki devices are added and online.
  3. Note your login credentials for the Nuki App.

Step 2: Purchase Nuki Smart Hosting

You must purchase Nuki Smart Hosting for each of your Nuki locks to enable access code programming through Seam.
  1. In a web browser, navigate to Nuki Web.
  2. Click Go To Nuki Web.
  3. Log in to Nuki Web using your Nuki App credentials.
  4. In the left-hand navigation pane, click Short-Term Rental.
  5. On the Short-term rental page, click Connect now.
  6. In the Connect to short-rental integrators dialog, click Nuki Online Shop.
  7. In the Please select your devices for Nuki Smart Hosting dialog, select the devices for which you want to be able to program access codes and then click Buy Smart Hosting.
  8. In the Nuki online store, complete your Nuki Smart Hosting purchase.

Step 3: Connect to Seam via Connect Webview

  1. Open the Connect Webview provided by your application.
  2. Select Nuki as the provider.
  3. Enter your Nuki App login credentials.
  4. Once authorized, your Nuki devices appear in Seam.

Step 4: Verify the Connection

After connecting, verify that your Nuki locks appear as devices and show as online with lock/unlock and access code capabilities.

Troubleshooting

Authorization fails in Connect Webview

Make sure you are using the same email and password that you use to log in to the Nuki App. If you recently changed your password, use the updated credentials.

Locks not appearing after authorization

Ensure your Nuki devices are added and online in the Nuki App. Nuki Smart Locks (non-Pro models) require a Nuki Bridge for Wi-Fi connectivity. Only devices connected to Wi-Fi are visible to Seam.

Access codes not working

Confirm that you have purchased Nuki Smart Hosting for the lock and that a Nuki Keypad is installed. Both are required for access code programming through Seam.

Lock shows as offline

Check that the lock is within range of the Nuki Bridge (if applicable) and that the bridge has an active Wi-Fi connection. For Nuki Smart Lock Pro models, verify the lock’s built-in Wi-Fi connection.
