Overview

This guide walks you through connecting your NoiseAware noise sensors to Seam. Your sensors must already be set up and working in the NoiseAware app before proceeding.

Step 1: Confirm Your NoiseAware Account

  1. Install the NoiseAware mobile app for iOS or Android if you have not done so already.
  2. Create an account in the NoiseAware mobile app if you have not done so already.
  3. In the NoiseAware mobile app, confirm that your NoiseAware sensors are added and online.
  4. Note your login credentials for the NoiseAware mobile app.

Step 2: Connect to Seam via Connect Webview

  1. Open the Connect Webview provided by your application.
  2. Select NoiseAware as the provider.
  3. Enter your NoiseAware app login credentials.
  4. Once authorized, your NoiseAware sensors appear as devices in Seam.

Step 3: Verify the Connection

After connecting, verify that your NoiseAware sensors appear as devices and show as online with noise monitoring capabilities.

Troubleshooting

Authorization fails in Connect Webview

Make sure you are using the same email and password that you use to log in to the NoiseAware mobile app. If you recently changed your password, use the updated credentials.

Sensors not appearing after authorization

Ensure your NoiseAware sensors are added and online in the NoiseAware mobile app. Only sensors that are set up in the app are visible to Seam.

Sensor shows as offline

Check that the sensor has power and is connected to Wi-Fi. Open the NoiseAware mobile app to verify the sensor’s connection status.
