Overview

This guide walks you through connecting your Minut noise sensors to Seam. Your sensors must already be set up and working in the Minut app before proceeding.

Step 1: Confirm Your Minut Account

  1. Create an account in the Minut app if you have not done so already.
  2. In the Minut app, confirm that your Minut sensors are added and online.
  3. Note your login credentials for the Minut app.

Step 2: Connect to Seam via Connect Webview

  1. Open the Connect Webview provided by your application.
  2. Select Minut as the provider.
  3. Enter your Minut app login credentials.
  4. Once authorized, your Minut sensors appear as devices in Seam.

Step 3: Verify the Connection

After connecting, verify that your Minut sensors appear as devices and show as online with noise monitoring capabilities.

Troubleshooting

Authorization fails in Connect Webview

Make sure you are using the same email and password that you use to log in to the Minut app. If you recently changed your password, use the updated credentials.

Sensors not appearing after authorization

Ensure your Minut sensors are added and online in the Minut app. Only sensors that are set up in the app are visible to Seam.

Sensor shows as offline

Check that the sensor has power and is connected to Wi-Fi. Open the Minut app to verify the sensor’s connection status.
