This guide walks you through connecting your Honeywell Resideo thermostats to Seam. Your thermostats must already be set up and working in the Resideo app before proceeding.

1. Create a Resideo account

If you don’t already have one, download the Resideo app and create an account. Add your Honeywell Resideo thermostats in the app and confirm they are online.

2. Connect Honeywell Resideo to Seam

Use the login credentials for your Resideo account to log in through the Seam Connect Webview and authorize Seam to access your devices.

3. Verify the connection

After completing the Connect Webview, confirm that your Honeywell Resideo thermostats appear in your Seam workspace and show an online status.

Troubleshooting

If your devices don’t appear after connecting:
  • Confirm that your Honeywell Resideo thermostats are online in the Resideo app.
  • Verify that you logged in with the same Resideo account that owns the thermostats.
  • Wait a few minutes for the initial sync to complete, then refresh your device list.
