1. Create an ecobee account
If you don’t already have one, download the ecobee app and create an account. Add your ecobee thermostats in the app and confirm they are online.2. Connect ecobee to Seam
Use the login credentials for your ecobee account to log in through the Seam Connect Webview and authorize Seam to access your devices.Make sure that you’re authenticating with the user to whom the devices are
registered. ecobee devices can only be registered to a single user.
3. Verify the connection
After completing the Connect Webview, confirm that your ecobee thermostats appear in your Seam workspace and show an online status.Troubleshooting
If your devices don’t appear after connecting:- Confirm that your ecobee thermostats are online in the ecobee app.
- Verify that you logged in with the same ecobee account that owns the thermostats.
- Wait a few minutes for the initial sync to complete, then refresh your device list.
