# Sifely Setup Guide

> Connect your Sifely locks to Seam.

## Overview

This guide walks you through connecting your Sifely locks to Seam. Your Sifely locks must already be set up in the Sifely app and paired with a compatible gateway before proceeding.

## Step 1: Connect to Seam via Connect Webview

1. Open the [Connect Webview](/core-concepts/connect-webviews) provided by your application.
2. Select **Sifely** as the provider.
3. Log in with your Sifely account credentials.
4. Once authorized, your Sifely locks appear as devices in Seam.

## Step 2: Verify the Connection

After connecting, verify that your Sifely locks appear as devices and show as online with lock and unlock capabilities.

## Troubleshooting

### Locks not appearing after authorization

Ensure your Sifely locks are set up and paired with a gateway in the Sifely app. Only locks that are online and connected to a gateway appear in Seam. You must also be the top administrator for each lock you want to connect.

### Remote unlock not working

In the Sifely app, go to your lock settings and confirm that the **Remote Unlock** feature is enabled. Seam requires this setting to control the lock remotely.

### Gateway pairing issues

Sifely locks require a compatible Sifely gateway for remote access. Confirm the gateway is online and paired to the lock in the Sifely app.
