# KeyInCode Setup Guide

> Connect your KeyInCode locks to Seam.

## Overview

This guide walks you through connecting your KeyInCode locks to Seam. Your KeyInCode locks must already be installed and connected to Wi-Fi before proceeding.

## Step 1: Connect to Seam via Connect Webview

1. Open the [Connect Webview](/core-concepts/connect-webviews) provided by your application.
2. Select KeyInCode as the provider.
3. Log in with your KeyInCode account credentials.
4. Once authorized, your KeyInCode locks appear as devices in Seam.

## Step 2: Verify the Connection

After connecting, verify that your KeyInCode locks appear as devices and show as online with lock/unlock and access code capabilities.

## Troubleshooting

### Authorization fails in Connect Webview

Verify that you are using the correct KeyInCode account credentials.

### Locks not appearing after authorization

Ensure your KeyInCode locks are set up and online in the KeyInCode app. Only locks that are active and connected to Wi-Fi appear in Seam.
